Look in the mirror and learn how to love what you see
Unconditional Confidence!
Cultivate who you are-water and care the soil of your soul—no one will EVER do it for you!
Yesterday my cousin @odimaris.rojas shared this image on her story by the model @danaemercer (who started an awesome movement BTW on self love) and I couldn’t help but think how as individuals (in general terms) the way we perceive ourselves also has a huge impact in our worldview. The image she shared had two different poses same angle one where Danae was sexy per se (perhaps where she felt she had to impress someone hide her natural self) and the other pose where she was comfortable (being that she couldn’t hold the other pose for a prolonged period of time).
This brings me to the conclusion that the way we perceive ourselves affects our lives the way carryon and live on a daily basis, the way interact with people sit, laugh, enjoy a day at the park or whether we fully enjoy it not!
There will be no questions today
Honest suggestion 🤍
- Be still with yourself for 3 seconds, take a look a good look at yourself—be present.
- Take time to settle and accept who you are.
- Being still allows you to listen to inner voice—your soul and heart’s need and connect to what you really want—do you really want to live pretending to be or looking a certain way just for others to like you? (Maybe one question)
- Adjust your body language and posture, look at yourself for who your really are—this will allow you to take on each day doing what you really want, love and enjoy without worrying of who’s watching and how look doing it.
In a world like #socialmedia where oversharing seems to be the norm sharing messages like this one is what gets overlooked at by people who are subconsciously in denial of who they really are.
Life could be easily missed —take time to celebrate YOU. Don’t rob yourself the joy of celebrating who you are!
Be thankful #gratitude will always invite you to a place of contentment and will teach you how to see the beauty and joy that you already have.
You were perfectly created. Don’t have fear of bringing YOU to this world. Take care of yourself, of your body, but most importantly LOVE YOU 😍
Fear and God don’t go together: look at yourself.
Praise Your Creator!
“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Psalms 139:14 NIV
Enjoy your day, and your weekend if you’re reading in actual time 😉
