The Tomb is Empty!

Where is He? … in the middle of this pandemic in Easter Sunday when you can’t gather with your friends and family to party and celebrate Resurrection Sunday/Easter, as you normally would where is He and who is it that you’re looking for?

What is His name?

Jesus is telling you that He is still near and just like He told Mary when He reappeared after HIS resurrection at the empty tomb…

He has not ascended to our father to give Him our proceedings (so to speak).

“Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, (spread the word) — ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ” John‬ ‭20:17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Essentially you still have time.

Have a happy 2020 Resurrection Sunday/Easter Sunday, definitely a different world than then, and even than yesterday or last year but the same God and the same promises await. These are different times for all for sure, but we must hold on and reclaim our promises. Proclaim what we believe and not stay quiet when is our role to speak. Remembering that we are blessed to be a blessing in the lives of others.

You as well are more than this pandemic, more than poverty, slavery, sex trafficking, domestic abuse, your past sexual abuse or persecution, more than the war in your country or what the government might be trying to say about the economy. You are more than the discrimination or the racism that’s existed for years you can begin the change that you want to see. You have a voice.

Begin by loving the world, as Jesus did. Wake up. You are loved!

With love,
