Choose wisely. Choose well. Choose LOVE.
This week in the United States the work week begins for many of us on this Tuesday after Memorial Day. No matter where you are, where you started your week, your week brings a new chance to decide who we’re becoming and how we’re showing up. This goes for our families, our jobs, our partners, and most importantly, ourselves.
It’s ChooseDay, your weekly moment to recalibrate and choose what matters most. Don’t focus on perfection, we’re talking about presence, intentional living that helps reduce stress, cultivate peace, and build the relationships and rhythms that truly nourish your life.
Let’s walk through this week, together and get ready for the next one :)
MONDAY – Mindful Start (you can apply it next week)
Theme: Reset, Release, Reframe.
Prompt: What am I still carrying from last week that needs to be released? Action Step: Block 15 minutes today for silence, prayer, or a walk, just to breathe. For Work: Set one clear goal for the day. Don’t aim to fix everything, just set a tone. For Relationships: Send a short encouraging text to your spouse, child, or coworker. Self-Care: Stretch. Hydrate. Eat slow. No skipping meals because you’re “too busy.”
TUESDAY – CHOOSEDAY
Theme: Choose what builds, not what burdens.
Prompt: Block 10 to 15 min and start with a grace affirmation — “I don’t have to get it all right, I don’t have to do it all, I don’t have to be perfect, I am already loved and enough the way that I am.” What’s one thing I need to say no to today to protect my peace? For Work: Choose to respond, not react. Pause before replying to stressors. For Marriage: Instead of pointing out what’s wrong, choose one thing to appreciate out loud today. For Parenting: Choose connection over correction. Be present, not perfect. Evening Reflection: Did my choices today reflect the kind of life I want to live?
WEDNESDAY – Wellness Wins
Theme: Midweek margin to prevent burnout.
Physical Care: Move your body today even if it’s just a 10-minute walk or light stretching. Mental Check-in: What’s occupying your mind space? Journal or talk it out. Work Tip: Schedule your hardest task when your energy is highest. Protect that block. Marriage & Parenting: Ask your loved ones, “How can I support you today?” Give someone you love a hugs trigger the release of oxytocin, “the love hormone” give it to feel it! Evening Reset: be intentional, no screens after 9 PM. Light a candle. Read, pray, or listen to music.
THURSDAY – Thoughtful & Thankful
Theme: Gratitude that grounds you.
Morning Prompt: What am I thankful for right now, as I read this, 2 things even if it’s small? For Work: Thank a teammate or client today. Be specific and sincere. Relationships: Practice active listening, give your full attention without fixing. Listen to be present today. Parenting Wisdom: Tell your child one thing you admire about who they’re becoming. Marriage Tip: Choose humility over winning. If something’s off, seek peace, not power. Put each other first, you can start.
FRIDAY – Finish Well
Theme: End the week with grace, not guilt.
Prompt: What did I learn this week about myself? Work Tip: Review what worked this week, celebrate progress, however small. Reflection For Marriage & Parenting: Forgive something minor today. Don’t carry it into the weekend. Plan to be happy, not perfect. Self-Care Tip: Schedule something enjoyable (not productive) for the weekend. Spiritual Reset: Ask God to help you let go of whatever you can’t control, and to guide you in the path He needs you to go to exercise better self-control.
WEEKEND RHYTHMS – Sabbath, Space & Soul
Theme: Rest is holy, sacred, necessary, not lazy.
Saturday: Slow down. Bake, walk, dance, clean without the rush, do something you love!Sunday: Center yourself in the truth. Worship with intention. Reflect on the goodness of life. Plan your next few day—Choose Wisely, with purpose.
Here’s a Journal Prompt: What do I need more of? What do I need less of? What am I ready to let God carry for me?
