On December 12, 2017—seven years ago—I launched my blog with a simple but powerful message: “You’re More Than the Giant You’re Facing.”
At the time, my website was called “You’re More.” I’ll never forget when someone told my sister, “No one reads anymore. People won’t read it.” What shocked me most was that the comment came from a pastor! I couldn’t help but wonder, If no one reads, who’s reading the Bible? To me, that statement felt like a lack of faith. But instead of letting it discourage me, I pressed forward, trusting God with the vision He had placed in my heart.
Fast forward to today, and this blog has grown beyond what I ever imagined. I’ve connected with readers and followers from all over the world—Australia, India, China, Canada, Italy, Chile, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Sweden, Indonesia, and so many other places. These are people who read every post, email me, interact, and share how the words I write have encouraged them. Even professional bloggers have reached out to connect.
This journey actually began in secret. Long before I created my Psychology.com profile or started booking appointments with clients, I was quietly helping people through this platform.
Of course, the road hasn’t been without challenges. But those challenges—the “giants” we face—don’t determine where we end up. What truly matters is how we choose to face them.
Not long ago, I started a Facebook group to continue following God’s vision—encouraging, empowering, and equipping women who are ready to face their giants.
To everyone who has supported this journey: Thank you. Your encouragement reminds me every day why I keep writing and sharing. Here’s the link to my very first blog post, where it all started 🎉: My First Blog Post
Together, let’s keep lifting one another up with faith and strength.
P.S. Sharing these little secrets wasn’t easy—but I’m so glad I did 🤍
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Remain blessed, well and poised!
