Our prayers reach across borders where our feet may never go.
Guiding Scripture: “Ask of Me, and I will give You the nations for Your inheritance, and the ends of the earth for Your possession.” (Psalm 2:8)
Pause for a second:
God’s heart has always been for the nations. From the promise to Abraham that all peoples of the earth would be blessed through him, to the vision in Revelation where every tribe and tongue stands before the throne, Scripture shows us that the whole world is on God’s heart. The news often paints a grim picture, we see wars, disasters, and corruption. May we never forget that God has the final word. Although all prayers are not pleasing to God, He listens to the prayers that align with His purpose. He listens to the prayers of the righteous. Our prayers can reach across borders where our feet may never go. As we join in this week of intercession, we lift our voices in agreement with believers worldwide, covering the globe in prayer.
Join Me in Prayer:
Father, we stand in agreement in the gap for the nations of this world, for the cities and families, and we declare that the power of the blood of Jesus breaks every chain of bondage. We seek Your face, Lord, and repent of our sins. We are truly sorry for the way we have broken Your laws and disobeyed You. Lord, we bring the nations before You. Where there is unrest, bring peace. Where there is famine, send provision. Where there is spiritual darkness, let Your light shine. Bless missionaries and local believers laboring faithfully. Bring peace and healing over the troubled-minded and wounded ones. Place a shield of protection and cover the innocent from the wickedness of this world. May every nation rise to know You, until the earth is filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. In Jesus’ name, amen.
