Untouchable Places Within

By

There is a part of us, humans that no human hand can reach. That our heart and our soul. Friends and family can hold us and listen. Even our community can surround us, but still, there is a depth that will always remain untouched by human comfort.

That hidden place belongs to God alone. It is there that the Holy Spirit moves. He moves gently, faithfully, and perfectly. He consoles where no words could soothe, He mends what no hand could heal, and He caresses the wounds that no one else can see and we can’t even name.

Whenever the weight feels heavy and you feel like you’re sitting with it alone and no person seems able to lift it, always remember: the Spirit of God is already within you. He is there, ready to tend to the places unseen, and comforting you in ways no one else ever could.

Connect with it. Name your pain, your worries, and your concerns and ask for comfort.

“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” — John 14:26

What area of your heart and soul do you need to invite the Holy Spirit to touch today?

What area is aching?

Pray with me: Lord, I thank You for your love and kindness and for leaving us with the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit, You are the only one who truly knows the depths of my heart. I open the hidden places of my soul to You. Comfort me where I am restless, heal me where I am broken. Intercede where I lack words. And remind me that I am never alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God’s healing power rest upon you today. 🤍
